About the Program
This program aims to empower Bahrainis to advance in their careers by providing wage support/increment for enterprises looking to employ Bahrainis in mid and executive jobs in the private sector.
This enables enterprises to employ and promote talented individuals to assume leadership roles, thus helping Bahrainis progress in their careers.

Eligibility Criteria
For Enterprise:
- Enterprise holds an active Commercial Registration (CR) from MOIC or an active license from the relevant regulatory authority
- Enterprise must not have violations from Tamkeen, LMRA, or any other relevant government entity
For all Employees:
- Employee must be a Bahraini national
- Employee must be registered in the SIO under the same company
Additional criteria for Mid-Level job:
- Employee must be employed in a supervisory or managerial role reporting directly to the senior management or executive leadership
- Employee must be registered in SIO for more than 48 months for salaries between BHD 800 – BHD 1,999
Additional Criteria for Executive-Level job:
- Employee must be employed in an executive or senior management role reporting directly to the enterprise Chief Executive or Board of Directors
- Employee must be registered in SIO for more than 72 months for salaries of BHD 2,000
Additional Criteria for the Promotions track:
- Increment percentage should be between 5% and 20% of the wage
- Increment amount should be a minimum of BHD 75
- The minimum wage for the employee should be BHD 1500
- The employee must have a minimum experience of 4 years
- It is required to promote the existing employee within the enterprise to leadership or managerial positions to obtain wage increment support
- The employee must be employed at the enterprise for at least 12 months

Support Mechanism
Employment Track: We will support 50% of the wages of new employees in mid-level and executive positions as per the approved cap amount for a period of 24 months.
Promotions Track: We will support 100% of the wage increment for a period of 24 months as per the approved and allocated cap amount.

What information and documents should the enterprise prepare before applying?
Mandatory Documents:
- Copy of Employment’s Employment Contract
- SIO Statement
- Increment/Promotion Letter (For Promotions Track)

What is the support duration?
We will provide wage support for a period of 24 months for both tracks.

When can the enterprise submit the application ?
Employment Track: The application must be submitted within 6 months of the employee’s joining date
Promotion track: The application must be submitted within 3 months from the date of promoting the employee who meets the eligibility criteria for this program.
