ضمن برنامج تبادل المعرفة السعودي البحريني، شارك وفد مملكة البحرين في ورش عمل بالرياض خلال الفترة 16–18 يونيو 2026 حول تنمية مهارات الكوادر الوطنية.

ضم الوفد البحريني السيدة مها عبدالحميد مفيز، الرئيس التنفيذي لصندوق العمل “تمكين”، والدكتورة مريم حسن مصطفى، الرئيس التنفيذي لهيئة جودة التعليم والتدريب، والدكتورة ديانا عبدالكريم الجهرمي، الأمين العام لمجلس التعليم العالي، إلى جانب عدد من المسؤولين من تمكين وعدد من الخبراء والمختصين.

As part of the Saudi–Bahraini Knowledge Exchange Programme, a delegation from Bahrain participated in a series of workshops held in Riyadh from 16–18 June 2026, focusing on the development of national talent skills.

The Bahraini delegation included Ms. Maha Abdulhameed Mofeez, Chief Executive of the Labour Fund (Tamkeen); Dr Maryam Hasan Mustafa, CEO of the Education and Training Quality Authority (BQA); and Dr. Diana Abdulkarim Aljahromi, Secretary General of the Higher Education Council, alongside a number of officials from Tamkeen, as well as experts and specialists in the field.

شارك السيد أحمد آل شرف، مدير إدارة قطاعات الأعمال بتمكين في جلسة حوارية بمنتدى الاستثمار الملائكي العالمي ضمن فعاليات «أسبوع المستثمرين الملائكيين»، حيث استعرض دور تمكين في دعم منظومة ريادة الأعمال والشركات الناشئة في مملكة البحرين وتعزيز جاهزيتها للاستثمار والنمو.
وخلال الجلسة، أكد آل شرف أن تمكين تعمل على دعم رواد الأعمال في مختلف مراحل نمو مشاريعهم، بدءًا من تطوير الأفكار والتحقق من جدواها، وصولًا إلى التوسع والنفاذ إلى الأسواق، من خلال برامج ومبادرات تسهم في بناء شركات قادرة على المنافسة وجاهزة لجذب الاستثمارات.
كما سلّط الضوء على أهمية تعزيز الجاهزية الاستثمارية للشركات الناشئة، مشيرًا إلى أن تمكين دعمت، من خلال مبادرات متخصصة مثل برنامج Startup Pitch، أكثر من 120 شركة ناشئة للمشاركة في 25 منصة استثمارية مختلفة، فيما حصلت أكثر من 40 شركة على جوائز وتكريمات، بما يعزز فرصها في الوصول إلى المستثمرين وتحقيق النمو.

Mr. Ahmed Al Sharaf, Director of Business Sectors at Tamkeen, participated in a panel discussion during The World Business Angels Investment Forum as part of the Angel Investors Week, where he highlighted Tamkeen’s role in strengthening Bahrain’s entrepreneurship ecosystem and enhancing startups’ investment readiness and growth potential.
During the session, Al Sharaf emphasized Tamkeen’scommitment to supporting entrepreneurs throughout their business journey, from idea validation and business development to market expansion and growth, through programs and initiatives that help build competitive and investment-ready businesses.
He also highlighted the importance of investment readiness for startups, noting that through specialized initiatives such as the Startup Pitch program, Tamkeen has supported more than 120 startups in participating across 25 investment and pitching platforms, with over 40 startups receiving awards and recognition, helping enhance their access to investors and growth opportunities.

تتويج 10 فرق طلابية في ختام النسخة الأولى من برنامج “ستارت أب بحرين - جامعة البحرين”، بدعم من تمكين، وبحضور معالي الشيخ سلمان بن خليفة آل خليفة وزير المالية والاقتصاد الوطني رئيس مجلس إدارة ممتلكات وعدد من أصحاب السعادة.

10 student teams were recognized at the finale of the inaugural Startup Bahrain – University of Bahrain Program, supported by Tamkeen, and attended by H.E. Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy and Chairman of Mumtalakat, along with a number of distinguished guests.

The program reflects Bahrain’s commitment to empowering young talent, fostering innovation and entrepreneurship, and enabling the next generation of founders to contribute to a more competitive and sustainable economy.
