Supporting enterprises in hiring Bahraini talent into managerial positions by providing wage support

  • About the Program 

    This program provides 30% wage support for one year to encourage enterprises and employers to hire Bahraini talent into managerial and leadership positions, while contributing to strengthening Bahraini leadership representation across the private sector  

  • Eligibility Criteria 

    For enterprises:     

    • Enterprise must be classified as either Small or Medium as per the definition set by the Ministry of Industry and Commerce   
    • Enterprise holds an active Commercial Registration (CR) from MOIC or an active license from the relevant regulatory authority 
    • Enterprise must not have any violations from Tamkeen, LMRA, SIO or any other relevant government entity 

    For employees:   

    • Employee must be a Bahraini national between the ages of 18 and 55 years old 
    • Employeemust be registered as a full-time employee in the SIO under the same applying enterprise  
    • Employee must be employed in a managerial role
    • Employees must have a minimum salary of BD 800 and a maximum salary of BD 2,500 
    • Employee must have a minimum of 4 years’ experience 
    • Employee must be employed by the Enterprise for a maximum of six (6) months at the time of application submission  
    • Employee must not have an active wage subsidy application with Tamkeen  
  • Support Mechanism 

    We will support enterprises by covering 30% of the wage for Bahraini employees for a period of 12 months, up to the approved support amount.
