Tamkeen Chief Executive Dr. Ebrahim Mohammed Janahi received in his office yesterday Mrs. Teresa Carlson, Vice President and Head of Worldwide Public Sector at Amazon Web Services, on the sidelines of her visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain to announce the launch of the first Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure Region in the Middle East.
BBBF held its monthly business networking meeting in strategic partnership with Tamkeen at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, recently. The meeting was chaired by the BBBF Chairman Khalid Al Zayani, OBE, and attended by keynote speakers from Tamkeen.

Tamkeen and the Bahrain Development Bank signed an agreement to launch a BD 20 million portfolio within the Tamweel Plus program to finance medium and large enterprises in compliance with Islamic Sharia. The agreement was signed by the respective CEOs of Tamkeen and Bahrain Development Bank, His Excellency Dr. Ebrahim Mohammed Janahi and His Excellency Mr. Sattam Sulaiman Algosaibi.
