Supported by Tamkeen Al Hilal Hospitals drive employment and career progression for 120 Bahrainis

As part of its ongoing efforts to invest in national talent within the medical sector, Al Hilal Hospitals and Medical Centers have successfully employed and advanced the careers of 120 Bahraini employees through utilizing multiple programs offered by the Labour Fund “Tamkeen”, including the National Employment Program, the Enterprise Training Support Program and the Wage Increment Support Program.  

Tamkeen’s support for the national workforce at Al Hilal Hospitals and Medical Centers comes in alignment with the Labour Fund’s 2025 strategic priorities, which focus on enhancing the position and competitiveness of Bahrainis in the private sector, equipping Bahrainis with suitable skills for career development in the private sector, and prioritizing enterprise growth, digitization and sustainability. 

This support builds on the strong collaboration between Tamkeen and private sector institutions, aimed at enriching the Kingdom’s healthcare sector – one of the vital industries contributing to the national economy. It also plays a key role in creating more high-quality employment opportunities for skilled Bahraini professionals in this field. According to the Bahrain Skills healthcare sector report, over 10,000 Bahrainis are currently employed in various specialties within the sector.  

The Labour Fund “Tamkeen” provides a wide range of programs designed to support various enterprises, empower the private sector as a key driver of economic growth, and deliver employment and career development initiatives aimed at making Bahraini talent the first choice of employment in the labor market.
