AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation Collaborates with Tamkeen to Enable Bahraini Youth

AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation signed an agreement with Tamkeen to support a number of programs designated for enhancing the skills of the Bahraini youth and preparing them to embark on their careers.  The agreement is entered into by the two entities for the 3^rd consecutive year, stressing the Foundation’s vital role in supporting its students through “Rayaat” Scholarships Program, as well as training youth within the “Ithra’a Youth Enrichment Program, which is being supported by Tamkeen for the first time.

Tamkeen announced that it is about to embark on the next phase of its 2018-2020 strategy, which will focus on maximising the impact of the support opportunities to enable the development of individuals and enterprise.

Plans for this upcoming phase are based on the studies conducted by Tamkeen on the Business Development and Training and Wages Support programs offered within the Enterprise Support, as well as reports on economic performance indicators and the outcomes of the consultation sessions with the private sector organized by Tamkeen during the past year.

30 Teams Qualify for the Finals in Youth Business Plan Award “Mashroo3i”

Thirty teams have qualified for the finals of the 5^th edition of ‘Mashroo3i’ Youth Business Awards.

“Mashroo3i” is an annual competition launched by the Labour Fund “Tamkeen” to present the Bahraini youth an equal opportunity to gain practical experience and skills in entrepreneurship. The competition affords the youth an opportunity to understand business planning and prototypes as a guide to start their own business.

Bahraini App wins Pitch@Palace Global 3.0’s People Choice Award

The Bahraini designed App “Alrawi Books”  has been chosen as the winner of the Pitch@Palace Global 3.0 People’s Choice Award 2018.

Alrawi Books  is the brainchild of co-founders Hala Sulaiman, Ameera Al-Qubaiti and Mohamed Ebrahim. The Bahraini app

The first Pitch@Palace held in Bahrain,  took place under the patronage of HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain and HRH Prince Andrew, The  Duke of York in partnership with the Labour Fund “Tamkeen”.

Two Bahrainis to take part in the international Pitch@Palace competition to be held in the UK

A delegation of Bahraini entrepreneurs has concluded their participation in the boot camp organized as part of Pitch@Palace Global, which is taking place from the period 10th to 13th December at St. James' Palace in London, UK. Their participation comes after winning the local and GCC qualifying rounds which took place in Bahrain in April and Abu Dhabi in October.
