Supported by the Labour Fund “Tamkeen” 11 Bahraini enterprises showcase their products to a global audience at the Kingdom of Bahrain Pavilion in Gulfood Dubai

The Labour Fund “Tamkeen” inaugurated today the Kingdom of Bahrain’s pavilion at Gulfood Dubai, with the participation of 11 Bahraini enterprises. This event is recognized as one of the largest annual exhibitions dedicated to the food and beverage industry. The 31st edition of the event is being held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, across two major venues: the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) and the Dubai Exhibition Centre at Expo City Dubai. This edition will feature more than 6,500 exhibitors from over 130 countries showcasing more than one million products.

Tamkeen’s support of the Bahrain Pavilion opens opportunities for Bahraini enterprises to broaden their operations and access new markets. Participating companies will be given a unique platform to showcase their products to a global audience, gain insight into the latest developments and trends in the sector, strengthen business networks, secure partnerships and exchange expertise with industry leaders. The companies participating in the pavilion include: Al Salwa Meat Factory, Deniz Food Packing Factory, Al Ameer Spices, Al Muharraq Pickles and Spices Factory, The Food Supply Company, Fermendiet Food, Early Riser Food, Quba Factory, Alkamel Factory, Amalfi Foods and Awal Dairy Company.

Tamkeen is committed to empowering local enterprises across various economic sectors and facilitating their regional and global competitiveness. The focus on the food and beverage sector stems from its vital role in the national economy and the promising opportunities it presents. By supporting Bahraini companies in attending this event, Tamkeen aims to foster valuable partnerships, facilitate business growth, and provide learning opportunities that contribute to the sector’s development and its economic impact on the Kingdom.

Gulfood Dubai is an annual event that serves as a global platform for food and beverage industry professionals. It offers valuable opportunities for networking, deal-making, product launches and industry announcements. The 2026 edition is expected to welcome an even larger participation, occupying exhibition halls that extend over one million square feet. Alongside the exhibition, various events will be held, including competitions, training courses and panel discussions featuring top chefs, thought leaders, entrepreneurs and influencers in the sector.

This support aligns with Tamkeen’s priorities, which focus on areas with the highest impact on the economy and Bahrainis. It also reflects Tamkeen’s role in shaping career pathways through programs that connect skills with opportunities in the labor market, adopting innovative approaches to stimulate private sector growth and financing, and implementing programs that enhance the Fund’s efficiency and effectiveness by developing internal mechanisms and continuously strengthening governance.
