As part of its ongoing efforts to accelerate the growth of Bahrain’s fintech sector and enhance to competitiveness of Bahraini companies, Tamkeen supports six Bahraini startups to participate in Fintech Forward 2026

In line with its ongoing efforts and continued commitment to advancing enterprise growth, the Labour Fund “Tamkeen” has announced its support for the participation of six Bahraini startups in the fourth edition of the Fintech Forward 2026, held on 7-8 October 2026 at the Bahrain International Exhibition Center.

The forum will convene global thought leaders, leading financial services innovators, and key decision makers to explore the sector’s most pressing challenges and discuss opportunities to strengthen the fintech ecosystem. The event will also showcase promising investment opportunities that can drive the growth of financial services across the Kingdom of Bahrain, the region and international markets.

This year’s edition builds on the forum’s growing reputation as a leading platform for industry collaboration, knowledge exchange, and thought leadership, driving the evolution of the financial technology sector. Previous editions have provided Bahraini companies with valuable opportunities to forge regional and international partnerships, sign strategic agreements, engage with investors and industry stakeholders and unlock new avenues for growth, expansion and market access.

Tamkeen’s support for this edition of the forum covers six Bahraini startups under the Kingdom of Bahrain’s Pavilion: Tanami, Aman, ARP Digital, Shield Insurtech, Soor and ME Platforms. Through their participation, the companies will showcase their innovative solutions and services, connect with investors, entrepreneurs, and fintech experts, build strategic partnerships, expand their professional networks and gain insights into the latest industry trends and developments shaping the sector. These opportunities are expected to strengthen their growth prospects and support their expansion into new markets while facilitating access to potential investment opportunities.

Commenting on the occasion, Mr. Khalid Al Bayat, Deputy CE of Program Design and Delivery at the Labour Fund “Tamkeen”, said: “Tamkeen’s support for the participation six Bahraini startups in Fintech Forward 2026 reflects our commitment to developing Bahrain’s fintech ecosystem and reinforcing the Kingdom’s position as a regional hub for financial innovation. This participation provides startups with a valuable platform to showcase their innovative solutions, establish strategic partnerships, and explore new opportunities for growth and expansion.”

“This initiative aligns with our strategic efforts to enhance the competitiveness of Bahrain’s private sector and support enterprises operating in high-potential sectors to achieve sustainable growth. In doing so, we contribute to economic development and the creation of long-term value for the national economy, particularly given the financial services sector’s contribution of over 17% to Bahrain’s GDP.”

The financial services sector has continued to demonstrate resilience and adaptability amid evolving market conditions and the ongoing transformation of the global economy. Bahrain’s advanced regulatory framework and strong public-private sector collaboration have played a key role in fostering stability while enabling innovation and growth. As the fintech sector continues to evolve, the fourth edition of the forum will focus on practical pathways to growth, including enhancing integration across financial systems, regulatory frameworks and infrastructure, while highlighting opportunities for collaboration and innovation across the sector.

The support is aligned with Tamkeen’s strategic priorities, which focus on supporting initiatives with high economic impact, enhancing the competitiveness of the private sector, connecting skills with the needs of the labor market, and adopting innovative approaches to stimulate private sector growth and financing, and implementing programs that enhance the Fund’s efficiency and effectiveness by developing internal mechanisms and continuously strengthening governance.
