In collaboration with the “Economic Development Board” and “Export Bahrain” “Tamkeen” concludes the participation of 15 Bahraini startups at Web Summit 2026

Tamkeen concluded its participation at Web Summit Qatar, held from 1st to 4th February 2026, in collaboration with the “Economic Development Board” and “Export Bahrain” and with the participation of 15 Bahraini tech startups. Web Summit is one of the world’s leading global events in technology and innovation, bringing together thousands of entrepreneurs, investors, and technology leaders from around the world to discuss the latest trends and developments in this rapidly growing sector.

Tamkeen’s support comes in line with its strategic priorities for 2026, which focus on areas with the highest contribution on the economy and local talent. It also reflects Tamkeen’s role in shaping career pathways through programs that connect skills with opportunities in the labor market, adopting innovative approaches to stimulate private sector growth and financing, and implementing programs that enhance the Fund’s efficiency and effectiveness by developing internal mechanisms and continuously strengthening governance.

During the event, 15 Bahraini technology startups took part, contributing to the strengthening of the entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystem, supporting the growth of local ventures, and enabling their expansion into global markets. This participation comes as part of Tamkeen’s ongoing efforts to support startups at various stages of their development across diverse economic sectors, while facilitating their access to international platforms to gain experience and knowledge and keep pace with the latest technological advancements in the sector.

In addition, a partnership agreement was signed between Unlabelled and Clemta, aiming to empower entrepreneurs to expand globally and facilitate their journey from idea to establishing internationally successful businesses. Through this partnership, Unlabelled users will be able to seamlessly establish U.S.-based entities, supporting the international expansion of startups beyond their local markets. In addition, Unlabelled signed another agreement with Digico Solutions, a company based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and specializes in enterprise cloud computing solutions. Through this partnership, Unlabelled users will benefit from enhanced features, including AI-powered online stores, as well as improved website performance and administrative dashboards, contributing to greater operational efficiency and enhanced user experience. Furthermore, several Bahraini companies participating in the summit successfully secured other partnership opportunities which will materialize in the upcoming period.

The Web Summit Qatar attracts more than 30,000 participants from 124 countries worldwide, in addition to over 800 investors and 1,600 technology startups. Web Summit is also considered one of the largest technology events globally, with the attendance of more than 600 media representatives and over 400 speakers, including leaders, experts, and entrepreneurs, to discuss a wide range of topics covering advanced technologies, artificial intelligence, fintech, energy, health, industry trends, and more
