Dr. Ebrahim Mohammed Janahi
Chief Executive Officer
With more than 35 years of experience, Dr. Janahi is now responsible for overseeing the operations of Tamkeen, and ensuring that it remains focused on helping the private sector to be Bahrain’s main engine of economic growth. This includes the responsibility for implementing Tamkeen’s strategy of 2015-2017, which seeks to improve quality, achieve better results and create better customer focus.
Dr. Nasser Qaedi
Chief Investment and Marketing Officer
Dr. Nasser joined Tamkeen in 2006. Currently, he is looking after the Planning and Business Development Department, responsible for overseeing all strategy, product development, iMac, market research and project management.
Qusay Al Arayedh
Chief Operations Officer
Qusay joined Tamkeen in 2010. Prior to joining Tamkeen, Qusay worked at the Ahli United Bank in the Corporate Banking Division, as well at the Economic Development Board in the Projects Department.
Dr. Yusuf Ahmed Dashkooni
Chief Finance and Administration Officer
Dr. Yusuf Joined Tamkeen in 2017 as Chief Support Officer. He has more than 30 years of professional experience in the fields of IT, Finance, Investment, HR, Administration, Change Management and Reengineering. Prior to joining Tamkeen, Dr.Yusuf worked as General Manager for Business Transformation at Batelco and acting CEO at SIO. He led a number of national strategic projects including the establishment of Osool and the Merger of Gosi and Pension Fund. He was a leading member in the inflationary allowance project, the unemployment project and the establishment of LMRA. He was a board member at Batelco, BDB, BTI and Quality Net.
Dr. Jarmo Kotilaine
Chief Planning and Monitoring Officer

Dr Jarmo Kotilaine joined Tamkeen in 2018. Currently, he is looking after the Planning and Business Development and the Monitoring & Compliance Departments. Dr. Jarmo joined the Bahrain Economic Development Board as Chief Economist in September 2012 and previously worked for a number of years as an economic and financial consultant around the world. He subsequently joined the faculty at Harvard where his primary research focus was the long-term economic and institutional development of Eurasia as well as on international trade and finance.

The key role of planning and business development is to provide the overall strategic direction to the organization, hence assist Tamkeen in setting-up, revising and recognizing its organizational aims and objectives. It additionally provides planning and direction to other functions such as operations, monitoring and others in terms of implementing different sets of initiatives.

The Government Liaison’s main target is to create fruitful partnerships with all government entities, and develop practical platforms to share programs, come up with solutions to bridge gaps and converse with all government stakeholders to serve Tamkeen’s customers in the private sector in a more effective manner. governance and internal control processes are operating effectively. Corporate Quality Assurance

The main objective of the quality assurance department is to ensure that Quality Assurance systems are implemented and reviewed periodically at a corporate level. Moreover, we are responsible for planning, directing and coordinating quality assurance programs and formulating quality control policies and procedures.
