Dr. Ebrahim Mohammed Janahi
Chief Executive Officer
With more than 35 years of experience, Dr. Janahi is now responsible for overseeing the operations of Tamkeen, and ensuring that it remains focused on helping the private sector to be Bahrain’s main engine of economic growth. This includes the responsibility for implementing Tamkeen’s strategy of 2015-2017, which seeks to improve quality, achieve better results and create better customer focus.
Amal Ishaq Kooheji

Amal is in charge of overlooking and executing specific programs that empower Bahrainis. Overall, Mrs. Kooheji has more than 22 years of experience in the field of training and development, serving both the public and private sectors.
Yousif Ali

Customer Engagement 
Yousif joined Tamkeen in 2006. He has held senior roles in Gulf Finance House, Bahrain Maritime and Mercantile International and Bahrain Training Institute. Currently, he is looking after Tamkeen’s customer outreach, and services capabilities.

Dr. Nasser joined Tamkeen in 2006. Currently, he is looking after the Planning and Business Development Department, responsible for overseeing all strategy, product development, iMac, market research and project management.
Qusay Al Arayedh

Operations

Qusay joined Tamkeen in 2010. Prior to joining Tamkeen, Qusay worked at the Ahli United Bank in the Corporate Banking Division, as well at the Economic Development Bank in the Projects Department.Currently he is looking after the Operations Department.

Abbas joined Tamkeen in 2005. Prior to joining Tamkeen, Abbas worked at MOIC and has over 18 years of experiences in IT. Abbas is currently handling the IT Department which is responsible for creating and integrating IT systems for seamless operations.

Ali joined Tamkeen in 2005. Prior to joining Tamkeen, Ali worked in a variety of banking and public organizations.With more than 20 years of experience, Ali is currently looking after the Finance Department, which is responsible for corporate services and for delivering funding.

Zuhair is currently looking after the Legal Affairs Department which draws up sound legal documents and operates in a sound infrastructure and protects the legal status.

Our department ensures adopting a proactive approach to minimize fraud and violation potentials. This includes minimizing / protecting and deterring potentially fraudulent cases and manage violations, to ensure appropriate actions are taken for cases received from different departments to the violation committee.
